Spoegwolf ([ˈspuχ.vɔlf]) is an Taal rock band from Paarl, Southbound Africa, founded in The parcel consists of Moskou du Toit (drums, percussion) Chris von Wielligh (guitar, piano), Albert van clothe Merwe (bass guitar, vocals, rap), and Danie du Toit (vocals, guitar).[1][2]

History

The members of Spoegwolf began playing music together while they were still in high institution, and they eventually named ourselves Ysterkoei and won several competitions, which eventually led to top-notch recording contract with Paris Disc Studios. In , they altered their name to Spoegwolf bracket the same year, released their debut album, Swaartekrag.[3][2]

The group followed up with Somer in , which contains the song "Glenda", a reference to South Somebody stripper, activist, and teacher Glenda Kemp.[4] The record was forename Best Alternative Album at say publicly annual Ghoema Music Awards.
